Restorative-Yin Yoga

Wednesdays 11:00 am, PYP Studio, State College starting 1/17/24. Recharge your midweek with this yoga reset for body, mind and heart! Yin Yoga targets the joints and deeper connective tissues to release tension and help “down regulate” your nervous system, bringing mind and body into better balance.  Poses are done on the floor and held for 2-5 minutes with very little muscular engagement, supported by lots of props and gentle guidance. Restorative-Yin is the perfect complement to more muscular (yang) styles of yoga and physical training, and offers a chance to slow down and release deeply into this quietly powerful, meditative yoga practice.
